I bought it about 5 months ago. It is possible for the card to flake out connecting to a specific frequency? I'll contact them to get feedback. Thanks for the input.
All of a sudden, my main PC has lost its ability to connect to my router via 5GHz. I can connect via 2.4 just fine. Other devices in the house have no problems connecting via 5GHz.
I have tried the following...
Rebooted computer
Rebooted router
Disabled 5GHz, rebooted router, re-enabled 5GHz...
Thanks for the feedback.

I did note cpu fan to cpu temp, but otherwise, that's my predicament. What should I do here? Whixh fan/temp sensor conenction would be most appropriate? Or, is the answer... Since I'm not playing games, maybe be best to simply...
I would appreciate help in linking fans to appropriate temp sensors. I have...
1) 4 PWM fans connected to mobo headers
CPU fan
Side in fan
Back & top exhaust fans
2) 6 mobo temp sensors (see illustration)
I don't play games, but occasionally use Handbrake for video editing. During last...
Solid suggestion. I plugged one in and since late yesterday, no disconnections. Coincidentally, this morning my main audio controller flaked out. Definitely leaning towards bad mobo now.
I flashed my bios, which reset my settings. I re-enabled Intel PTT. Upon booting now, I'm asked for my Bitlocker password, rather than a PIN. I can easily do this, but its then not utilizing the PTT/TPM. I previously had TPM set up and using a PIN. In Windows, when I open the TPM Admin, it...
Yep
The adapter referencing herein has such an antenna. I get a solid 584 connection to the router when working properly. I should note, I replaced the original adapter as I was having the same Internet connection issues.
Reliability report simply indicates "A problem with your hardware caused...
As somewhat anticipated, changing adapter to AC only did not help. I neglected to consider the reason I installed this adapter was my previous adapter's Internet connection had been getting dropped. I had not run a wlan report at that time, but feel it was the same issue.
I would highly doubt...
Although the Nighthawk AC3200 WiFi Router (R8000) is AC, WiFi 6 is suppose to be backwards compatible. With that in mind, I'll set the adapter to cap connection at AC... let's see if that may help.
When functioning properly, connection to router is a strong/solid 584 Mbps. My Internet connection maxes out. Furthermore, I've never seen a poor connection completely wipeout the adapter, removing it from the system.
My wireless network/Internet connection goes dark at seemingly random times, possibly under heavy load. The adapter actually disappears from Network Connections. Upon a reboot or disabling/re-enabling toggle in Device Manager, adapter is re-enabled and all good.
I have ruled out…
bad card...
