Same thing happened twice yesterday. The same one spiked to 100% and held it for like 30 or so seconds while watching YouTube and again when I was on a game. It happens so randomly that stress tests don't do it justice

For CPUz my multi thred score was 3496.7 and my single thread was 360.4, which seems slightly low given I have the CPU overclocked a bit, but it could be the software. My cinebench r23 multi core score was 7061 and my single core score was 1019.

I know that it doesn’t have 12 logical cores. I was just going off what was showing off of HW monitor but it isn’t in my face at the moment. I will look into running the single core test today when I have the time.

Fixed problem. I cleared the CEMOS and now it works just fine. It could of been turning the PSU off and then back on too.

One thing that would help is to run an m.2 ssd for some of your games. Depends on how much money you have as well. If you have the money for a 1tb ssd (m.2 or SATA) i think that'll help with the load times. It could also help upgrading the graphics card but I'm not completely sure because your...

I should also mention that games like Aim Lab and Gmod runs on the monitor that displays upon startup and not the main monitor that I use (the one that doesn't display upon startup.) (The monitor that doesn't display upon startup says "Power Saver Mode" when Windows starts up)

It sounds like is still gets too hot that it downclocks even when you have set the max temperature higher. I hate to say it but you might have to mess with fan curves.

Also when I tested a friends GPU to see if he had a problem, I had and explained 580 and he had a 1060 6gb, which did better than the rx580 so it might be the HDD

I would think it would be the HDD with the bad sectors as well. Too many could cause your Windows OS to not even run properly
