i have the same problem yet on a different board I own an MSI g46 970a I can get sounds to come out the jack by wiggiling the headphone in the jack but it seems to work with select headphones? idk

Well I updated the bios to the newest version. I'm going to try underclocking the card to normal r9 270x speeds instead of the factory oc.
