Nope starting from R5 the stock coolers(Wraith) are designed to be screwed into the backplate. Older AM3+/athlon/r3 have clip-ons

I forgot to install the back plate :|

Hi Folks, I recently purchased a Gigabyte B450M DS3H WIFI to go along with my new R5 3600. Everything was working fine until today. I was trying to change my stock cooler for a water cooled one I forgot to insulate the back portion of MOBO and turned it on, I heard a slight pop like sound...

I am looking at gigabyte aorus wifi elite costs 11k including gst... Board looks and feels like😍... Reviews seem to be ok ... Any thoughts??

Yeah B450 steel legend seems to be the best bang for the buck 8k INR seems to be cheap AF for what it offers!

B550 is a bit pricey and if am not mistaken am not gonna be benefitting from Gen4 unless i spend some money on a gen4 nvme/gpu... :|

Hi Folks, I am looking to upgrade from my old 4790k and currently have 3500x/3500/i5 9400f on my radar. The 9th gen i5 is dead cheap here(india) and the entire party of CPU+ Mobo + 8x2 DDR4 HyperX would cost me around 250$. Ryzen CPUs on the other hand have become too pricy!, The CPU alone...

unfortunately the i5 did bottleneck the 1070ti on latest AAA titles, upgraded to an i7 4790k and now everything runs like a dream!

i traded in the i5 and got a deal for the 4790k for less than 80$, RDR2 Odyssey now run like butter on my rig .. Thanks for the help mate ! BTW why a new PSU ???
