[SOLVED] Mouse Cursor messes up until reboot sometimes after closing games.

This only seems to happen when I exit a game, but my mouse cursor ends up taking on the shape of the last icon it was. So if i mouse of a text field, it will stay as the blinking cursor icon, or if I hover over the edge of a window, it will turn into the dragging arrow. Is there a way to...

How does using two graphics cards work? Non-SLI

thanks for the reply. I suppose I will just sell it and carry on with my life instead. :) What kind of card would you recommend to run 2 1440p resolution cards that wont be overkill, power wise? edit: I ran my specs through a power supply calculator and it came up with 625 as recommended

How does using two graphics cards work? Non-SLI

Instead of selling my old card I figured I'd actually use it to power 2 aux monitors rather than triple monitor on one card. First question- can I use two different gfx cards simultaneously? Second- if I hook 3 monitors up across 2 non-SLI cards, do they all show up in nvidia control panel? I...

1080Ti with three 1440p monitors (one 144hz)? Will this work?

Long story short: I have two 1440p monitors 60hz, and one 1080p 144hz. Connecting all three is great, works no problem. I replaced the 1080p with another 1440p 144hz monitor. My system is crashing and burning. My card refuses to output to 3 monitors at once. Plugging in three monitors...

Need advice on whether to upgrade or not to new Intel CPU

@Pyre, well the truth is i am not really in a hurry to get a CPU since theres nothing wrong with mine! I've been weighing my options, its either $20 for a PCIe NIC or $500 for a new mobo+cpu! So if anything, i think i'd rather wait it out.

Need advice on whether to upgrade or not to new Intel CPU

From what i've read, Broadwell is an increase in power efficiency where Skylake will be an actual processing power increase? In which case it makes more sense to wait for Skylake. Skylake is slated for end of 2015 I think? thanks for the info. I think im just going to grab a network card and...

Need advice on whether to upgrade or not to new Intel CPU

If you've seen any of my other threads, im having some hardware issues with my motherboard (the network hardware seems to have failed). Anyhow, I was going to replace just the mobo, but my CPU is socket 1155 and finding a motherboard I want is just not really a possibility now. So I was...

no network hardware detected after installing new components

I was going to get a new motherboard, but my i7 is a 1155 socket, and ofcourse, its near impossible to find a motherboard that will work with that now for some reason. I was going to instead consider upgrading to the 4th gen i7's and get a new motherboard, but the 5th gens are coming out soon...

no network hardware detected after installing new components

I pulled out the motherboard 12v cable and noticed there was a wire dangling out from it. So I replaced the power supply hoping that the missing cable for some reason powered the network adapter but that doesn't seem to be the case... nothing changed. I guess its possible that I shorted it out...
