Just OC my 9700k to stable 5Ghz @ 1.37v with around 70c under load. However when i open HWMonitor, i see it jump up to 1.4-1.45v every few seconds. Is there a way to stop this? I have a GB z390 elite

Yeh i just realised that. I updated it and it now shows 9700k

So we ordered a 9700k and it has now been installed. The cpu was running at 4.6ghz and i was like geez. I checked task manager and system info and they both said i7 9700k @ 3.6ghz however when i go onto Cpu-Z it says Name: I7 7700 and Specification: I7 9700k?

So i have a new i7 9700k and a z390 elite mb. I have a 240mm corsair hydro h100x which should be good enough to oc. The stock speed is 3.6ghz, how high do you think i could go?

Is there anyway i can use my fans from my kolink observatory and use them/pair them with rgb fusion or are they the type of fans that are only controlled via the hub and controller provided?

Ok it seems to have calmed down, all there is now is a low humming sound. Pc hasnt turned off or sparked yet although yes i will turn off and unplug straight away if it happens again. Hopefully it was a one off situation.
