I overclocked my G.Skill Fare X 3200mhz but i never did any thing to my CPU setting on bio (most of them are on auto setting by default). but under CPU-Z, it constantly hit 4.1 - 4.2 mhz and i am on my stock cooler......for normal online suffering i get 48 - 58 temp I am confused...whats going...

thanks man. so 3200mhz will be pointless? because i will be using this new rig for the next 5 -7 years. so i dont mind spending a little more money. but if 3000mhz is more than enough. i will just go with 3000hz.

damn i just read that the release date of z390 is around the corner. z370 would be reduced in price by then. buying now seems unwise. but i have no computer to use. does anybody know how far is it from the release date? i would rather get z390 with two great new features
