    I am not sure on the GPU temp. I am unsure on how to check that. I only have the program called core temp that seems to show the CPU temp. It too is a little concerning it is running 95-115 F. They are all in one. The CPU has its own cooling and the GPU has its own it came with.

    updating an external drive

    Is it possible update windows without booting up to the HDD? I have it connected to a different computer as an external drive. My other computer took a dump on me after and update. I am trying to see if updating it from my main computer will fix it.

    so I took the HDD that had the OS on it and hooked in my computer to boot to it. Still did the same thing it did in my wifes' computer. So have figured it is the HDD. I can pull up the files on the HDD when I hook it up through USB. So I guess that is a good thing.

    My wife made a new desk. The base of the desk is made from half inch steel pipe. The tower is sitting the side of the desk on a small from attached to the base of the table. What might be some effective items to manage the wires with out just zip-tie the wires to the legs.

    this seems a little backwards IMO, but why is 2D more expensive the 3D? Is it any "better"? I intend to basically put the operating system and a game or two on the SSD.
