Hi, internet was working fine until a few months ago when I started to have problems. I'm trying to troubleshoot it and find the root of the issue.. So basically what happens is that after 1-2 days my internet connection becomes very unstable, getting messages like "Resolving host..." on google...
No the issue is with both wired and wireless so the whole connection goes down so to speak. If I only use my ISP's modem/router alone by itself then no problem occurs no matter how many days pass, but when I want to use any external wireless router then the connection becomes bad after 1-3 days...
Hi all, ever since I got this new Sagemcom Fast 3890V3 modem/router combo from my ISP 2 months ago I have a particular issue that I cannot solve no matter what I tried. The issue is that no matter which extra wireless router I connect to it my internet connection slows down to a crawl after 1-2...
Okay it happened again now. So this is what I did to troubleshoot, and I really can't find the root of the problem.
First of all this is my setup: ISP modem/router(in bridge mode) ----> Asus ac86u router ----> network switch Netgear with 8 ethernet ports that I use.
One single ethernet cable...
Hello again, now again the same problem happened and I had to restart my modem/router again. What happens is that I don't lose internet 100%, it becomes extremely unstable and slow. I have like 500 mbit down and 250 mbit up. So when the problem occurs I cannot even open some webpages, and if do...
Thanks for the reply, I have activated the bridge mode now so I have to wait and see. However what other problems can cause this particular issue I'm having? Bad modem/router? There is no problem with the line that goes inside the house that I know.
Hi all, I'm not an advanced user when it comes to networking so bare with me please. So my issue is that my internet drops after a few days of usage randomly. I got a new and upgraded modem/router from my ISP at home but I'm using my own private wireless router (newly bought Asus ac86u) and...
Hi all, just upgraded from a MSI GTX 970 to MSI GTX 1070 and overclocked it using afterburner.
Here are my final stable result:
Core voltage: %100+ (max)
Power limit: %126+ (max)
Core clock: 120+ mhz
Mem clock: 550+ mhz
Ingame results show that temps reach 67c on max load and doesn't go...
Hi all, I have a question. I want to buy a new (non-reference) GTX 1080 card but I'm undecided between MSI, Asus and EVGA. I'm gonna manually overclock the new card using MSI afterburner as I did with my GTX 970 before. Does a card's base clock and/or boost clock from the factory matter if I'm...
I have tried two other laptops as well with direct wired connection to the modem as I've mentioned but the results are the same so it's definitely not my PC.
Hi all,
I have Internet disconnection problems since yesterday so I wanted to ask here for ideas. Since yesterday my modem started losing connection to the Internet very frequently.
If I manually restart the modem I get back my connection but it drops out again after 5-10 mins of regular...
First of all I have an Acer 5943G model laptop. I have a weird issue since yesterday when I upgraded from Windows 7 to 10. Everything is working fine except that all the sound is coming from the subwoofer speaker beneath the laptop instead of the R L speakers above the keyboard.
I have...
