[SOLVED] Computer sat for four months... Diagnosis help...

I'm responding on the machine...just tried new SATA cable. I should know in an hour or so if that fixed it. Another thing, I had system information up within task manager and when the error occurred CPU and memory usage appeared normal, but the hard drive usage went up to 100% and stayed there...

[SOLVED] Computer sat for four months... Diagnosis help...

Having just moved and also having another PC, my previous build sat unused for about four months. It was handled gently and suffered no drops or hard jostled as far as I know. Upon starting it up it ran fine for about 30 minutes and then hung. Upon reboot it gave black screen with the "select...

    Input on my new system?

I realize that the i7700K doesn't come with a cooler so add another $25 or so. Does it come with thermal past already like a non-K processor?

    AOC display experiences?

This monitor is utterly great. Very sharp and good uniformity. Just finished calibration and removed the very slight red cast and it is now pretty neutral. I assume it is overlooked due to less that top end contrast and response time, but I would guess that for most it would be fine. Of...

    AOC display experiences?

I appreciate the answer....I was looking to stay around $300. I had it narrowed down to that one or an LG 21:9, but went in favor of the larger 16:9 with 1440p resolution. Could I spend more? Yes, but I'm trying to ball on some sort of budget. I will post a review with my relatively...

    AOC display experiences?

I intend to play mostly total war, civ, coaster planet and the like. I am aware giving it's a 60hz monitor it may not be the best for shooters and such, but should be fine otherwise right?

Hail... I have just purchased this monitor: http:// I plan to use it for streaming and gaming, but wanted to see if there were opinions out there on AOC monitors. Amazon and newegg are light on reviews for this particular monitor.
