the 770 will outperform the 760. but the 2gb vs. 4gb is something that we first need to know what you intend to play, and on what resolution. like watch dogs.... it needs to have 3gb vram to run the textures at ultra settings.

no it will not. this board is supports at most am3 cpu's. the fx series are am3+. the board will run any am2/am2+/am3 cpu but not am3+.

the cheap am3+ is the 780 chipset boards. but your trying to future proof so get the 990 chipset which is the best one. chichever one you'll end up getting make sure it has the pci-e 3.0 x16 slot

i say go with the second build. the cpu really wont be a bottleneck for gaming but im sure for photo editing it might be. save about 70 more and slap in an i5 instead of the i3 and you'll be set very nicely.
