Well, I am definitely not mixing these two terms. I can hear audio through the speakers but whatever microphone and/or another input device I try to use is just silent.

It can't be related to power either USB drivers. It just started randomly. Also, I'd like to mention that it's just the inputs. It has to be a software glitch because it doesn't matter what input device I am using, they just won't work. Anyways my specs: AMD FX 8350 Crosshair V Formula-z AMD...

I've been having this problem for some while now and now I consider it a critical problem. No matter what interface, soundcard or USB headset I use, Windows won't give me any input. I've used many different devices. Even the motherboards own inputs don't work. Anyone who's having the same problem?

Nope, nothing happens. Only Sleep and log out work.

I had the problem BEFORE the reinstallation, I just tried that if the problem was fixed that way but it wasn't.

Well I have an FX-8350. Anyway thank you both! I think that Kingston website helped me. I've heard that RAM speeds from 1866 to 2400MHz doesn't really matter in games, so I think 1866 is enough.
