Question Which 1000R Curved Ultrawide Monitor to recommend?

So anyone with a bit of an interest in PC Monitors might have noticed that a number of manufacturers now offer curved ultrawide monitors with a curvature of 1000R. As far as I am aware, Samsung started the trend and is currently offering a whole line of monitors both with 16:9 and 21:9 aspect...

[SOLVED] 8 bit vs 10 bit colour profile and HDR

I have an ultra wide at 2560x1080 with HDR 10 capability (at least that's how LG describes it). What simply bothers me most is that it's not clear what either of both colour profile settings in the Radeon software actually do. Moreover when switching the colour profile in the graphics settings...

    [SOLVED] Memory Frequency and Compatibility

I discovered after completing my build with 3200MHz Memory that my Motherboard only supports 3200MHz as OC. This caused my RAM to initially run only at 2667MHz, since that was the maximum supported value without an Overclock. A couple of Youtube clips later I realized its the simplest fix on...

    [SOLVED] SSD Choice

I ended up going for a WD Blue M.2 250GB SSD (Boot Drive) and a Crucial MX500 1TB SSD (Game Library). Got the WD Blue SSD for 46€ and the Crucial MX500 on sale for 99€. So all in all just under 150€ for pure SSD storage, which was quite a good deal I'd say, while not skimping on quality drives.

[SOLVED] Windows 10 boot blinking cursor

    [SOLVED] SSD Choice

Doesn't that cause a decent amount of heat output on the motherboard, if one single drive is constantly read from and written to, instead of sharing the load across two drives? And no, only one M.2, but two possible 2,5" bays.

    [SOLVED] SSD Choice

Are WD Greens bad? Basically I was considering different combinations: 2x ~500GB 1x 120GB, 1x 1000GB 1x 240GB, 1x 1000GB Otherwise a 500GB SSD and a 2TB 2,5" HDD at 5400RPM, though I keep thinking that even an entry level SSD would be multitudes faster than an HDD....
