i fixed, someone on reddit told me to change the display cable, switched it to hmdi and screen with the 496.13 works fine

the first problem i ran into was windows 10 not seeing my graphics card no matter what i did so i figured it was a driver issue, after pulling out the handy dandy manual for my gpu i downloaded the recommended driver which was nvidia drivers 466.27, but during the installation process it said...

havent tried a different tv or monitor as i dont currently have one but ill try to plug something else into the monitor and see if its display comes up

hey man ran into a similar problem and here is how i personally fixed it completely shut down the pc, unplug psu from the back and perform clear cmos make sure every power cable is fully connected on the mobo and on the psu, give them a firm push and check that all like fans and etc cables...

so basically this happened and now when i turn on my pc the fans start spinning (except for gpu fans) and the leds light up (gpu leds light up too) but my display stays blank, ive tried switching which display port to use on the monitor back of mobo and gpu (tried hdmi as well) the weird thing...

f14e, i think the mobo got shorted out because cmos did nothing for it

yea thats what im thinking, sounds like a whole new mobo to me

as i said, the pc just shuts off immediately after led lights flash once and fans spin for like .5 seconds... so cant really do that but thanks for the response
