Nevermind guys I got frustrated and just decided to reinstall Windows altogether. Clean install went without a problem and computer is working perfectly fine. I really wonder what it was that was causing problems...
Nonetheless, thank you!
Hello,
This morning I tried upgrading my PC from Windows 10 1803 to Windows 10 1903 using the Windows 10 Update Assistant and it is coming up with an error saying "This PC can't be upgraded to Windows 10. Your PC has a driver or service that isn't ready for this version of Windows 10. No action...
Hey! Sorry for hijacking the thread so late...
Anyway, prinngle if I were you I would buy a new motherboard and a new CPU cooler (a Hyper 212 EVO will do, it's good and cheap). A new PSU can wait, but I would have that in the back of my mind as personally I like having a safe and comfortable...
I would go with a fan controller. I personally own this one https://www.amazon.com/Sentry-5-4-Inch-Controller-Cooling-AC-SEN-3-B1/dp/B00KJGYLNM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1491180975&sr=8-1&keywords=sentry+3
You're right, maybe it's time to get a new printer, i've had it for around 2 years (I think) and I feel like it's had a very very good run, it might be time to get something newer. I'll keep looking at some scanners, so far the V600 looks tempting... Anyway, thanks for your help!
Hello,
I've been going through some old boxes at my parents' house and so far I have found about 2 boxes FULL of old pictures. Most of these tell stories family members had only told me about, but that I had never seen a picture of. Anyway, I am looking for a GOOD scanner so that I can scan all...
Ok so basically it is safer to use a router, doesn't matter if i'm using Windows Server or pfSense. In that case then, which router would you recommend? I'm looking for one with 8 gigabit ports preferrably and Wi-Fi is not necessary. I would like for the router to be not reasonable in price...
Hello,
I just recently upgraded to a 50 megabit up and down internet while running an old Netgear FVS318G. As expected, it won't give me all the bandwidth I'm paying for (already tested by connecting computer directly to modem). I have a computer running Windows Server 2012 R2 that acts as a...
No it won't, the computer will be fine. I usually do it everyday and I've been doing it for a long time now and nothing has happened. So you're safe :)
Okay, if the drive is in "Good" state in CrystalDisk, then I would say everything is fine, if the drive is still cutting in and out though, I would try plugging it in internally, maybe the little case went bad.
Ok that's weird. I wouldn't trust that drive very much anymore since it's cutting in and out. You can try getting it out of the case and plugging it internally, this would allow you to run more tests on it.
Either way, download CrystalDiskInfo and see if there's anything wrong with the drive...
