So I know very little about the clock speed of CPU'S, I know that the 9900k runs at 3.6 and the 6700k at 4.0
Is the 9900k by default faster due to the extra cores and threads for gaming or does the 6700k get more of a boost due to the 4.0 speed.
Also is it worth OC'ing to 5.0 or will I still...
I'm building a new system and I've been trying to find a new case to get. My initial choice was the O11-Dynamic however it only supports 2 120mm fans and I'm not a huge fan of bottom intake fans.
I've narrowed it down to the H500M and the 500D SE.
What would you suggest?
I'll be using 3 120mm...
At the moment it's a tie between the 500D SE and the H500M not sure on which one to go one, one of the downpoints for the 500D is the lack of RGB that I have that would look better in the 500D.
Initially thought of the O11-Dynamic but 3 of my fans are 140mm and I'm not a fan of bottom intake cases.
Looking for a new case to replace my current S340, Looking for something that not only looks good but preforms well to get the best temps for my Rig
This build has been chosen specifically for gaming.
Playing at 4K with a 120HZ monitor
For the case im looking at £200-250
The case is being...
Main concern about this case is airflow since my current case is under the desk near the wall, the Lian li does not have a rear exhaust but rather a side one. Probably would have to opt in for the Air model
Will probably get more fans once I get more money. I've ordered 3 Noctua NF-F12 IndustrialPPC 2000RPM PWM as case fans. Debated on the C700P as this the Lian li case seems like it would benefit from an RGB set up, that or I could just get the black case.
So I've seen a few cases whilst some of them looked great; they either didn't support the radiator size I needed, too expensive & didn't have USB C.
For instance I really like the Lian Li O11 Dynamic but I'm unsure as many people have said it's hit or miss in terms of the radiators fitting (I...
The current motherboard I have is the Gigabyte - GA-Z170XP-SLI ATX LGA1151
This is my current part list.

So this is my first gaming Pc, I have no clue how to change my ram speeds.
My ram is G.Skill Ripjaws 4 Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3000 Memory
And my motherboard is the Gigabyte GA-Z170XP-SLI
So I'm looking for a Uk (US isn't a no go) keybaord. In terms of switches I like tactile and clickey ones so I think I'd prefer the MX Reds.
In terms of looks Rgb would be nice but I would prefer a white keyboard.
Well I mean price is a small factor now that I'm going into my last few £'s of the budget. I'm just looking for a fast high capacity HDD for games. SSD for OS and the 1TB for school work
