[SOLVED] Can Gigabyte B450M DS3H still function properly with single-channel memory?

Hi, Right now I'm using a Corsair Vengance DDR4 8GB 3000MHz RAM card. It's just the one card, although I am getting another one soon since my PC keeps shutting down while playing games as suggested by a repair shop I went to, but to ask, shouldn't I be able to continue playing on the B450M DS3H...

Question Would 2400 MHz RAM cause the ryzen 5 2600 to shut down while gaming?

Yes, the CPU is at ~60 C when I’m playing overwatch and ~35 C when I’m not. GPU was around the same, maybe a little less, so I don’t think it’s overheating. It’s a brand new build, so it’s definitely clean.

Question Would 2400 MHz RAM cause the ryzen 5 2600 to shut down while gaming?

Hi, I was having an issue where I would play Overwatch and the whole computer would shut down after a match or 2. I tried updating drivers, checking for errors in my NvME drive where I keep the OS, testing my PSU, making sure nothing was out of alignment in the hardware, and I just couldn’t...

[SOLVED] Windows 10 not detecting HDD, but BIOS does

Just an update: I found it in the most peculiar little spot in my device manager, I never would have looked, but it was under some kind of driver file, I didn't even think to look in there. In any case, I just saw that it matched the number on my hard drive's box, went in there and updated the...

[SOLVED] Windows 10 not detecting HDD, but BIOS does

The only one I'm seeing in here is the NvME and its partition. I don't see the 2TB at all. I'm also contacting Seagate support to see if they can offer a bit of insight.

[SOLVED] Windows 10 not detecting HDD, but BIOS does

Nothing's on the drive quite yet-this is a brand new build. I'm trying to use it as additional storage, I have an NvME that boots windows. Could you specify what I'm looking for in disk management please?

[SOLVED] Windows 10 not detecting HDD, but BIOS does

Hi, I managed to get everything set up but I'm noticing that the HDD doesn't seem to be in windows at all. It doesn't appear in device manager, but it appears in the BIOS as one of the boot options. I'm using a Seagate Barracuda 2TB HDD and when I looked on their website, it says that they...

[SOLVED] Caught in a Windows 10 reset loop

So when I did the first reset, I removed the usb after and it came up with an error that says that it “ran into an unexpected problem”and that “installation cannot continue.” That’s when it starts resetting. Should I not have removed the USB? I thought that would have forced the boot to go to...

[SOLVED] Caught in a Windows 10 reset loop

Hi. I’m having an issue where I’m attempting to install windows 10 onto my NvME (Samsung 970 EVO) and it’ll go all the way through and then come back to the BIOs and then it enters a reset loop where it says that installation cannot continue, and it consistently enters this state of reset where...

[SOLVED] Front panel connector pin short?

Hi there. I’m a first time builder and I started building yesterday when I ran into the old “PC won’t turn on” deal. After unplugging everything I had noticed that the one of the pins for the front panel connector pins was shorter than the others. It looks to be the pin that’s connected to the...
