It's alright man so about the psu yes the gpu is connected with a single cable from the psu both 6pin and 8pin I haven't tried the second part about using a different cable for the molex I'll try that and let you know. And one more thing the 12v is around 11.76 something and the 5.5v is around...

I don't have a multimeter and the psu tester or friends who would lend me one not because the won't they aren't here or near me so 1 question my 12v on bios is 11.6 something and the 3.3v is aroaround 3.2 something is that normal?

sorry for the delay i wasnt sure if you would reply i left the site XD i have now got a gtx 970 and yes it requires 1 six pin and 8 pin to power up the gpu and for the cpu its an 8 pin yes they are all connected to the psu

its a bit of both if the power goes out most of the times and while gaming it happens completely random like 2 or 3 times a day, so do i need to change the psu? or is there any way to check the psu before i buy one,my pc was fine when i built it, been using this pc for 1 and half years now and...

and the pc shuts down for no reason while gaming also i checked the temps all are normal cpu is around 26c on idle on load 45 max and GPU is around 70 and yes the computer shuts off like the power cord is pulled and restarts automatically
