Don't really know where to put this but anyways as the title suggests, should I get surge protection for my ethernet? Forgot to unplug my router after a power outage, will this damage the router and my pc that is connected through ethernet?

My house is located on the side of a highway so my place gets really really dusty fast and I just prefer keeping everything tidy that's all.

So my keyboard and mouse usb connectors are dusty, I tried cleaning them with compressed air but there's still a lot remaining, can I use a cloth? What's your preferred way of cleaning usb connectors?

Just scared that I might have also broke smthng in the inside or also degrade its performance.

Also the laptop is still working, though idk about the ethernet port because I don't have any ethernet cable.

I mean I kind of just placed it inside the ethernet port I'm just paranoid that maybe it got shocked or smthng, don't have money to replace it.

Accidentally plugged laptop charger in ethernet port because I was in a rush, also I connected the power cord to a wall with no ground (in a Cafe), will my laptop be fine?

There seems to be water building up in the tempered glass side panel of my case, is this bad? Idk how long it has been there, what could cause this? Can humidity cause this? It has been raining a lot recently and the air felt abnormally cold.
