I bought a new cable DP 1,4. can now run 60hz but keeps flickering if i try to turn it to 144hz. Wtf is the issue? -EDIT Now it max works at 85hz but twitches every 30-60sec. Is the monitor broken?

I run dual monitor, one 60hz and one main 144hz . The second one (60hz) runs at right refresh rate with hdmi if that matters but main one 144hz runs at 24hz with displayport. Do you think the displayport cable in broken? Its about 4months old.

I’m playing at 140hz 1440p. Is the second build superior for gaming or are they about the same? The Amd one has double the cores, that means better computing? Is the intel just as good as amd for gaming in this case?

So I recently had a problem with high CPU temps which was bcz I accidentaly auto-oc it in bios, now that i set everything to default it runs at 4,5ghz and reaches very high temperatures, it goes up to 100 degrees celsius (bout 212 fahrenheit) on all cores and the package, and this is a temp im...
