Ok, So I think the coil whine could be coming from the PSU. Because, when I put my 660 in then it started to coil whine. It is caused by a copper wire vibrating at high speeds making a high pitched noise. The change in power consumption I think. As for what you can do? You could get a new PSU...

Those fan speeds seem fine to me :). I have my fans on 60-70 when playing to keep it cool. I dont see a issue unless it bothers you. -Unicornio

It could be the GPU's capacitor, Have a look inside and see if any of theme are bent,burnt, or just gone! Then you can order new ones for around 5 pounds online. Slap them in and see if they help. -Unicornio

What is your PSU, I have heard cases of stuff like that being something to do with power.

For the fan speeds, 50% is really good. I have mine around 60%. As far as I know, there is a very small chance that your fans will get damaged at that speed :)

What do you mean by "warm"?

It's Possible, I think you will need to play around with the Display settings a bit but it shouldn't be that hard :D
