CPU - i9 10850k, no broken pins but the center looks off to me. Gigabyte Z490 UD AC, I'm doing an RMA but does the socket look ok? I'm uncertain about doing an RMA for the CPU so I'm checking with you guys. Thanks. CPU View: https://imgur.com/gallery/p2BxhSD Motherboard View...

Question Xferred to new case, no boot

I took the heatsinks off and checked the motherboard and CPU. I can't see anything wrong but I'm not sure what it's all supposed to look like either. I put it all back together and still no sign of life. I requested an RMA from Gigabyte, should I do the CPU too? How can you tell which one is...

Question Xferred to new case, no boot

It's not working now. QQ It has a double heatsink that I found myself pushing down with my arm alot. Also last night the cpu cords weren't aligned right on the mobo, I caught that. Maybe that caused a short? What are my options, to remove the heatsinks, check out the cpu, and then take it...

Question Xferred to new case, no boot

Yep, I looked up exact instructions with bullet points. I have to say, I was halfway expecting a fire but nothing happened. I'm taking it apart right now to put back in old case. Which I can't use permanently because it has holes. This is the third or fourth item on this build from newegg...

Question Xferred to new case, no boot

My system was working fine. I transferred the components plus some fans to a new case. DOA. I've done most of the stuff in the "no post, etc" thread. How do I tell if the power plug in the F panel is working or not? New case is DIYPC Spyker-BK-ARBG. The arbg hub already had the exhaust...

[SOLVED] upgrading GPU in an HP prebuild

    - it's probably 500w but people are going to be asking for the exact details of your psu. It could also be proprietary to HP only. - this is a terrible time to upgrade a GPU. Prices have been inflated, stores are out of stock...that said, I know you'd be able to find a gtx 1070. I don't...

Question where do i plug in my 2nd rgb fan

Oh, good, they are arbg. I was worried! Yeah, a splitter is your best bet if it's only two arbg fans. And then use the addressable rbg header you have been using.

Question where do i plug in my 2nd rgb fan

You should have two cords on your fan. One goes to a sys fan port, the other goes to the LED RGB header, unless it's an addressable RBG fan, then you can plug it into the arbg fan port as you have. As it is right now I'm not sure if your mobo will catch on fire or not. You need a splitter...
