    Did I get a good FX-6300 chip?

I'm able to run my FX-6300 @4.4ghz with 1.26v - http://gyazo.com/dc441c9d467bbaf411f3f7d7e158430d I haven't pushed it higher, but I'd like to overclock it higher once I get a better case for airflow/better cpu cooler. I have a Corsair H60 cooler, which hasn't done me too well, it idles at...

Could i run far cry 4 with this set up...

You'll be fine, if you search on youtube you can find gameplay of GTX 460 + Far Cry 4. If your using a lower resolution monitor (<1080p), you'll be gaining even more frame with the potential of upping the settings.

FX6300 with gtx970 or something else

Hey man I have an FX 6300 and have a GTX 970 on the way. There are many videos of gameplay using the FX 6300 + GTX 970 even at stock speeds and doing perfectly fine. I really love the FX 6300 and as nice as it would have been to be able to buy an i5, which in the future I most probably will. I...

    Upgrade Monitor or CPU+Mobo

Do you think it'll bottleneck that hard? I've seen videos where an FX6300 performs fine with a GTX 970 on "high end" games. I understand an i5 will be quicker, but is it so needed that I should keep using a 900p monitor? Also isn't a FX6300 essentially and 8350 with 2 cores less?

    Upgrade Monitor or CPU+Mobo

Alright this is one of my last decisions in finishing and upgrading my build I've had for the past year. I've been playing on a 1440x900 75hz monitor, I want to know if I've been missing out not playing 1080p CPU: FX-6300 Mobo: Asus M5A97 R2.0 GPU: MSI GTX 970 (on the way) I've been watching...

FX-6300 is my stock Voltages Incorrect? [Could be reason for Screen Freezes??]

In CPU-Z it shows the Core Voltage is fluctuating form 1.164V to 1.188V. Showing 1.176V in Bios. Is the low voltage the reason why I may be freezing when browsing the web or attempting to play games. I've seen other people with Voltages of 1.22v, 1.26, 1.32 at Stock.

How do I find out which part is the bad one. [Screen Freezes]

I'm giving up I can't seem to find out why it freezes, no errors in memory, gpu, cpu, or both hard drives. I have no way of telling if the problem is Power supply, software or motherboard. I'm so upset right now its been 4 days, I've been trying to troubleshoot for about 8-10 hours a day with no...

How do I find out which part is the bad one. [Screen Freezes]

Can anyone suggest any test for each part to figure out which parts are good and bad, are Prime95, FurMark, SeaTools, MemTest86 good tools to see if those are good parts?

How do I find out which part is the bad one. [Screen Freezes]

I did a CMOS reset, then after SteamOS would freeze while at the starting screen. I'm reinstalling Windows 7 again right now, I did find HPET in Bios - it was already enabled as default. I'm so upset right now. It's so hard knowing you PC boots up and is able to browse the internet and...
