Hi! So, I'm attempting an overclock on my 9600K and my motherboard is the Gigabyte Z390 UD, not the best for OC i know. So on HWiNFO how do i check my temps on my motherboard to make sure they are ok, If i cant find the temps on there, what can i use to find them. Thanks in advance.

Hi, If I overclock my 9600k to something like 4.9GHz, is there a way I could get it to run at the base clock when idle and only go up the 4.9 when needed? Instead of it running at 4.9GHz all the time which could affect the life span of it?

Hi there, So, my 9600k has a base clock of 3.7GHz and a turbo of up to 4.6GHz though it actually caps at 4.3 GHz on all cores. If I wanted to overclock it, would I have to attempt to get the clock ratio up to above 43 for there to be any change or would there be another intel turbo setting I...

Right I get it, so if the motherboard does become the limiting factor in the overclock, will my pc just blue screen or will the VRM’s be damaged irreversibly because let’s say I set the voltage to more than it could handle?

If I test this and underclock too much and blue screen, will I be able to just revert to a previous bios setting? And try again
