Its like the mining edition with only dvi d and I didnt care last year about display outputs since my previous monitor had dvi d but now I do and only realized the dvi d only port, the monitor did come with display port

I just purchased a hkc-m24g3f since it has a dvi d which is good for my dvi d only rx580(powercolor) also bought a dual link dvi d cable and it does show 120hz and 144hz however when I try to click them the screen only turns to black and reverts to 60hz, is it a cable problem or my monitors? hey so I currently have a RX580 with Dvi d only and since gpu prices are insane right now I want to upgrade my monitor, can I atleast reach 120hz on lower resolutions since I mostly play low resolutions on CSGO and Valorant.

But what if the monitor only has display ports and hdmi ports, can a dvi to hdmi/dp converter get me 144hz?

Recently purchased a rx 580 with only a dvi d port and I have an extra monitor laying around and so I was wondering if I could just buy a some sort of dual link dvi d splitter to use a single link dvi to my main monitor and vga to my second monitor.
