gpu 1660 super

I just replaced my power supply for the gpu 8 pin. Took out the 1050ti put in the 1660 super and it's not working, the light is on the gpu but the connectors at the back for the gpu are not working and in windows or the bios I can't find the gpu anywhere. Windows only finds my intel graphics...
