Hi all,
So, I'm doing a new PC build. It's going to have a Ryzen 3700X and an Asus Crosshair VIII Hero motherboard. For that reason, I won't be able to start building until they release.
Now, I've already purchased every other item for the build, which means I have my new 1TB NVMe drive...
Need some help/suggestions.
I need to upgrade 2 desktops. I am planning buying 4 memory modules (2 for each - any suggestion welcomed), two Ryzen 3600 CPUs and two motherboards. The rest will be moved from the old desktops.
Ideally for the motherboards I wouldnt like to spend more than 100€...
I have a Asus Prime B450M-A motherboard and I’m planning to upgrade to a Ryzen 5 3400X when it comes out on the 7th of July and I was wondering if the new CPU will even work with my motherboard. Will I need to update my BIOS/UEFI or will I have to buy a whole new motherboard.
Hi! :)
You think or have heard anything about if the existing X470 lineup (but new from the manufacturer) will come with a Bios update supporting Zen 2? What I mean is: Out of the box supporting the next gen Ryzen. Since it seems the X570 mobo's will be priced higher than it's predecessors, and...
I wan't to buy a new PC in the next couple of months, together with the upcoming new Ryzen 3000 CPUs, but I don't know if I should pick the 3800x or the 3900x. My main purpose for this PC should be gaming, but I also do Photoshop or video vuts from time to time, but that isn't tat much important...
Last night, AMD announced new 6, 8, and 12 core CPUs based on their 7nm Ryzen 3000 architecture. Contrary to speculation, AMD did not disclose any information on a 16 core cpu.
AMD demonstrated their 12-core AMD Ryzen 9 3900x is using 2x8 core CCX design, so it isn't crazy to imagine AMD would...
Is PCIe 4.0, nvme and all that worth it? I'm on ~$450 budget and want to upgrade my fx6300 this summer. I'm wondering if there is going to be downsides to pairing b450 + 3600 (ex. ryzen 3600 is advertised for PCIe 4.0)
Any suggestions on whether or not this is a good idea?
Currently at MicroCenter the R5 1600 is only $80 and with the motherboard bundle you save $30. The R5 2600 is at $139. But in the summer the Ryzen 3rd gen's are coming out. I personally think that the 2nd gen's price will go down but then it will be a generation behind. And the 1st gen's will be...
Atm I'm going to buy a r7 2700, but I am wandering if I should wait and buy a r7 3700 because the 3700x is supposed (don't know for sure) to hit th 5ghz mark with 12 cores, since the 2700 is £200 rn witch is a pretty good deal, I'm gonna be doing alot of gaming and video editing and...
I have now i7 5930k.
dose it worth to upgrade to Ryzen 2700X or wait to 3XXX as Ryzen 7 3700X which have 12 core and 24 threads and new motherboard supporting PCI Express 4?
I am going back to mini-ITX for Ryzen and currently have the Ryzen 3 1200 and RX 570 and 8gb of DDR4 2400 mhz ram that I will upgrade at some point. However, I wanted to get the best mini-ITX motherboard so I don't need to upgrade down the line. Hope it will last for a while until this...
