Hi, My HP laptop's hdd is crashed. It was 500gb. Now I want to replace it with ssd 240gb.And want to recover windows using hp recovery manager. I have a set of recovery discs which was created using Hp recovery manager. Is there any problem to recover with smaller ssd.

I recently bought a prebuilt and installed the m.2 ssd but there is no screw to hold it in. Is the m.2 important? Or could I just leave it like that for a few days until I get an m.2 screw?
