I lost it when I read something about "bans". " man the balance in the game is a little rough, what should we do? Pool a small group of competitive players to playtest weapons for us? " nah, let's just pit a ban system in so the pleebs can balance the game for us.

Why do people keep buying this garbage every year.

One man's trash is another man's treasure.

Yes, but only one of them is right. And it certainly ain't the CoD fanboys.

They aren't bad games, there is just very little to distinguish one from the next. People still buy sports games when the only real difference is a few graphical bumps and new line-ups. This is pretty much the same idea.

They are not my thing but I wouldn't call them garbage. These games put a lot of money into the gaming industry which I see as more positive than negative. As long as people still make better games and I can mostly ignore the yearly CoD title I'm fine with it.

Only now can one choose a character specialism? Sheesh, Project Reality has had that for years, ditto numerous other mainstream games I expect. More indepth games like Squad are so much more impressive than the same old COD types we get every year. It's a shame, as I really liked the COD series back in the PS2 days, though the release of Black showed where COD was lacking.
