0 byte videos that can't be rendered

Hi, i have been using a WD my book home edition 4tb(older model) since a bit over 2 years ago and i use it like storage because i moved to using laptop. I'm a bit paranoic with it and scan it often and got error a couple of times which left behind files, usually videos, that became 0bytes and i get a "cannot render" message. Now i wonder how many videos i lost due to this but i have so much stuff that its going to take forever to check everything manually, so i wonder if there's a way i can just search for all the 0 bytes files or something. Also would like to know if this is some kind of sign that my disk is having issues since according to crystal disk info and the WD software its all green. Is there a way to fix them too? are they corrupted files or why does this happen? or how can i tell if there are corrupted files or should i just trust windows check disk and other software?

Edit: seems like most if not all the cases are .mp4 but i'm not 100% on that

open the root dir of the disk in explorer, click in the search bar and use the "size" option with the keyword empty. The zero size is either a sign for a dying disk or you disconnected it while it was in use.

Where or how do i search using size? i can't seem to find it and so far its been like 4 files that i have found became 0 size but according to crystal disk info and the external hard disk's own software everything seems to be fine, should i start to worry or are there any other signs i should be checking for because i don't currently have a back up, should invest in something asap if the disk is actually dying. But i remember the first time i used the disk, when i was transferring bulk into it, something similar happened but in that case i guess it might have issues during the transfer and everything was working fine after 2nd attempt to transfer.

Thanks, and thankfully there weren't all that many so maybe i'm still on time to invest in a new one for back up just in case but what kind of scan or test can i do to be sure of its life?
