Hello everybody. Can't seem to figure out what's going on with one of my older systems. Just recently, my system would not start up and just land on BSOD with error 0xc0000098.
After making several attempts to recover or repair the system, I bit the bullet and performed a fresh install after formatting both drives. Since the fresh install, the system was working fine for a few days until it would not start up again leaving me with the 0xc0000098.
Thinking the hard drive was compromised, I again reformatted the system and performed a fresh install on what was previously the back up drive. Again, the same error returned a few days later.
I then thought it was defective ram causing a write issue and ran the windows memory diagnostic tool, but, it passed without issue.
Any thoughts?
