Solid build for the budget ^^

Looks pretty good. May not be a terrible idea to go with an 850 watt psu for just a little extra headroom if it’s only a few dollars more. But other than that it should serve you well. I’ve got a 6800 xt in my pc at 1440p and it’s a great card. Though I think I’m going to pick up a 7900xtx which is naive overkill but…why not LOL?

So, what are you specifically asking about? Your proposed build or do you want others to suggest other builds in your price range?
A more recent build that I have put together. The one above is obsolete since prices have increased.

Approximate Purchase Date: February

Budget Range: $1150 - $1200

System Usage: Gaming, Schoolwork

Do you need to buy OS: No

Location: Georgia, U.S

Parts Preferences: None

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI or Crossfire: No

Your Monitor Resolution: 1440p

Additional Comments: I want to be able to run nearly any game at high settings. CPU Pricing is from AliExpress, GPU Pricing is from BestBuy. I know the mATX MOBO will end up looking a bit weird so would it be worth it to spend $10 more for a decent ATX?

Your realize you selected a microATX motherboard and a full ATX case, right?

I would not recommend that memory brand. Look for something from G-Skill, Crucial, or Corsair. Make sure EXPO is listed, not just XMP. EXPO is AMD's version of XMP and just makes it easier setting up (in some cases).

I would also recommend a better SSD. Consider Samsung or Crucial. 2TB if your budget can accommodate.

As noted earlier, a stronger GPU would help if you can squeeze into the budget, something like a RX 7800 XT.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure mATX motherboards are compatible wit full ATX cases, right?

Is there a reason Silicon Power should be avoided? These are the cheapest 2x16 DDR5-6000 CL30 sticks I could find.

Don't have enough room to squeeze in more than a $400 GPU

Yes, the motherboard will fit. Will just look odd with unused space. Mostly cosmetic.

Cheaper does not mean better, nor does more expensive mean better for that matter. I would be concerned with warranty support, reliability, stability. Spend a couple bucks more and get something you know will be worry-free.

Understood on the GPU. You can always upgrade later if you want.
