1/2" BSPT is it in inches

I bought a 1/2" BSPT adapter for my water cooling, The BSPT thread has come and it is 3/4" or 13/16 inches. So i think I want sent the wrong thing.

But what I want to know is that does BSPT stand for a different unit and that it is the right item was sent to me.

Any Help?

BSPP is British threads. The standard for every common WC part worldwide now.

It's not standard ", it's metric and isn't measured by the OD.
