Still don't know which pin on what is broken. There's about 1000 pins just in the socket of Intel CPUs and as many on AMD CPUS with 100 or more over MB.
I think he means a pin in the socket is broken, op you need to specify this in your original post, as there are a lot of other pins spread out all over the board.
Now onto the issue, I wouldnt recommend using the board, they can be fixed sort of if you can get your hands on an old scrap board where you can remove a pin to replace your broken one, but, the missing pin could be for PCI-e lanes, voltage, memory controller etc and could possibly fry a CPU if you put one in.
