Hi, all,

I bought a laptop this past October, and started having problems with random, varied BSODs in the middle of June. For what it's worth, I believe an automatic firmware update occurred around that time, but I'm not sure if that's the root issue.

I took it to two different techs near me -- both did clean installs of Windows, and one of them even tried giving me a fresh start with Windows 8.1. I still had BSODs before ever installing any software. Everyone is dumbfounded, and Dell wants me to pay them to send me their own clean install thumb drive.

Here's a list of all the BSODs I've caught so far:

  • Driver corrupted expool
  • Kernel security failure
  • Kernel mode heap corruption
  • PFN list corrupt
  • Page fault in nonpaged area
  • Reference by pointer
  • Kmode exception not handled (wdf01000.sys)
  • DPC watchdog violation
  • Memory management (no hardware issues detected with the usual tests)
  • IRQL not less or equal to (intelppm.sys)
And here's what I'm running:

  • Dell Inspiron 15-3567
  • Win10 Home 64-bit, build 18362
  • Intel 7th gen i5-7000U @ 2,5 - 2.7 GHz
  • Memory: 8GB, DDR4, 2400MHz
  • Toshiba 1TB SATA hard drive
Lastly, a minidump from the most recent BSOD (the irql) is here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=15WLHzFCjZ9d_EiEPQ-SJndgtvSH1Nsi6

Any help would be so appreciated. I don't have the funds for a new PC right now.

Thanks so much!
Melissa
