I have been using performance monitor quite alot lately to get a benmark for my system.
However there must be something wrong with it..or my knowledge of priority behavior.
with an amd 1.3 --if i open open access 97 and then open up a form processor jumps to 100. If i click on a button on that form..cpu drops to 87%.
if i just leave the form open for more than a few seconds...processor drops to 100 but then after a bit more time jumps back to 100.
if i just click on next row..processor jumps to 100.
This is true of several other apps.
for MSCE..MS says that one of the main ways you know u need a cpu upgrade is if its always 100% occupied.
Yet there is no way access97 takes all the power of a 1.3 cpu to do its work and so needs a bigger cpu.
so....what am i missing??
