100% disk usage

My laptop is a dell i5 7th gen, 8gb ram, 4gb gtx 1050. I have disabled almost all the startup apps but the disk fluctuates between 60 to 100% all the time. It's frustrating, I don't know what to do. I have Bitdefender on. The laptop is new. Whats causing this problem? Should i get it checked from the centre? Or reinstall windows?

I would go into resource monitor and click on the disk tab and then click on the "usage tab" (I think it's the usage tab....it might be something else)....to sort by usage and perhaps see what app is using all the disk time.

Just isolate your issue using task manager. In "Disk" tab, see which process have highest percentage or MB/s depend on your setting when your disk is in high usage. just keep it open all time. It's first thing i open when i boot up and last thing to close when shutdown.
