[SOLVED] 100% GPU Usage on Minecraft (modded)

Just built a new system, and for some reason my GPU, a rx 580 8gb goes to 100% usage when i try to play sevtech ages. Any other game works fine, and on top of this minecraft isn't detected on the Radeon settings.

I also tried dedicating more ram, was originally using 8 gb, then tried 12, and it still made no difference. CPU remained at around 20%.

Did all that, and used the AMD utility that recommends the best driver based on windows version, and it still has the same result. Also tried turning on opengl triple buffering as I read that AMD's performance with opengl applications are not always the best.

Something to note is that the gpu runs fine with other modpacks, at ~30% usage, which is the same i get when i boot up vanilla. I am starting to wonder if there is a specific mod that for some reason destroys the performance of amd based gpus.

Found out the issue, looks like a mod call "foam fix" has a feature that is very incompatible with AMD based cpus. You can disable this feature, as i found out in these two links.
