[SOLVED] 100% Usage on New CPU

I recently bought the i5 9600k to replace my old i5 6400. However I am already coming across the issue of the CPU usage being at a constant 100% usage. Whatever I am using will be taking up crazy usage such as Chrome or soptify taking up to 70% usage! I am not sure of the cause or a fix and any help would be appreciated.

Did you reinstall Windows after changing everything?

Changed any settings regarding OC in BIOS?

I'm amazed that it's even working as Skylake boards don't support Coffeelake Refresh CPU's.

The official supported motherboards are the H310/B360/H370/Z370 <--Require updated BIOS & the Z390.

The fix is to get a supported motherboard.

Obviously motherboard had to be upgraded too.
