$1000 Gaming Build Help

Hey guys. This is going to be my first gaming computer build and I don't want it to be so expensive at first. So please help me decide on cheap and efficient parts. Please I don't want the parts to have cheap quality and that it would break in less than a year. I would appreciate it if the parts would be long lasting and efficient with a reasonable price. Hope I'm not asking too much. I also made a build myself. You guys can feel free to add in suggestions.

Approximate Purchase Date: This week or next.

Budget Range: $1000 after rebate.

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, surfing the internet, rendering videos and uploading, doing homework

Are you buying a monitor: Yes

Do you need to buy OS: Yes

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Newegg, NCIX, Amazon

Location: U.S

Parts Preferences: Doesn't matter as long as the parts are not from a cheap and crappy quality company. I would prefer parts that are reliable and efficient.

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI or Crossfire: No

Your Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080
Please take in consideration of the parts quality and guys can you check if my parts that I picked are compatible with each other? Also can a HDTV be used as a monitor? If yes than what is the difference would happen if I used a HDTV instead of a regular computer monitor. Sorry for the questions and needs. This is my first computer build and I would like to learn as much as possible and so next time I can pick myself and be less of a bother.

@TheBigTroll also the vs228h-p doesn't have a built -in speaker. Doesn't that mean that I would have to buy a separate speaker for more than 10$ for the sound audio?

yes it has intergrated speakers. just telling you now they wont be the best

and no. the coolers come with some. its decent enough for 95% of users

Do you know how much a good speaker would cost than?

around 25-40 dollars should get you some good ones. you could just plug in some headphones. you should first try out the speakers on the montior and then deem if it is necessary for a dedicated pair

unfortunenatly, i have never used a asrock board so i dont know too much about their UEFI bios.

might want to ask someone over at the motherboard section or go on youtube and see if someone has a gude

Hey Troll I've heard that the ASRock Z77 motherboard has bios problem. Some GPUs won't boot up with the motherboard. I'm afraid that this problem might happen with my GPU as to this board has GPU problems. Can you reccommend another motherboard that is compatible with my components that isn't too faulty and has problems?

Every board will have problems. Those people were just unfortunate.

i tend to just grab a asus board or a gigabyte

nice asus one would be the p8z77-v LK
nice gigabyte one would be the z77-d3h

all manufacturers' boards will have problems here and there. some people like azeem said are unfortunate and get the bad boards.
