1050ti or 1050 2GB? Can I play Fallout 76 and ES 6?

I have ordered a laptop with an i7-7700hq and a gtx1050 with 2GB of vram. I’m worried about being being able to play the new games I want to play like Fallout 76 and Elder Scrolls 6 after combing through benchmarks.

Is this setup enough to play these games on low-medium settings and would I be better off changing my order to a laptop with an i5-7300hq and a gtx1050ti with 4gb of vram?

In case it matters the 7700 and 2GB 1050 are in an MSI and the 7300 and 4GB 1050ti are in a Medion,(I ended up going for the MSI due to their being a reputable gaming laptop company I had heard good things about).

The Elder Scrolls VI will probably come out 2021 and Todd Howard said the technology for tes 6 isn' there yet, so I guess it will come out for the next console generation. And a GTX 1050 is about as strong as a Xbox One or PS4. System specifications for both games haven't been revealed yet. Fallout 76 runs with the Fallout 4 engine. But they have heavily revised the engine. But I think a GTX 1050 will be able to run Fallout 76 in 1080p on low/medium settings. For tes 6 I think neither the 1050 nor the 1050 Ti will be able to run it. Both Cpus should be able to handle Fallout 76, but tes 6 could be to demanding. I would advise you to build a desctop pc on your own. The you can change Cpu and Graphic Card if necessary.
I was strongly considering doing this and holding off for the 11 series graphics cards but after looking around a bit it seems like they are unlikely to be released this year.

I would cancel the order if the 11 series was releasing this year but where did you hear July was the release date? Thanks for your reply by the way.

A laptop of this level is not really great for gaming, especially AAA titles. So you really don't have room to go lower end if playing newer games is your priority. I'd go with the 1050 Ti based system in your case. It is better to go with reputable brands but you can't have it all, you have to compromise on something unless you have a larger budget.
