Question 1070 sli?

Hey guys.
quick question..
i currently have a GTX1070 but am wanting to upgrade.
I am stuck between going up to an RTX2070 or getting a 2nd 1070...
what are you guys' thoughts on this?

Mainly VR but i play all sorts.

personally id get the rtx 2070, dual gpu setups are weird, not fully supported by most games, introduces screen tearing and consumes more power.
its still better just getting a single fastes gpu you can afford. unless you just want to flex or do benchmarks.
