1080 vs 1070 vs 980 ti vs 970

I'm confused which graphics card I choose? My screen resolution is 1600x900

if you have the funds go with the newer 1070. it 90 percent of the speed of the 1080 for almost 1/2 the price.

at 900p a 1070 would be the very definition of overkill!!!!

but it will set you up for a monitor upgrade when you get around to it. if you're gonna stay with the 900p screen, then a cheaper option would be the new amd cards coming out. a 470 would be more than you need and is only $150 starting.

Well, I'm planning on getting on a new monitor. Not sure if it's going to be 1080p or 1440p

a 1070 at 1080p will be able to pull 144hz most of the time (i think.....) and 60hz at 1440p
at 900p a 1070 or a 970 even or even A 960 is overkill (unless its 9999hz )
