1080p 144hz IPS monitor?

I plan on getting a gaming PC soon and I'm having the most trouble with the monitor. I would prefer the Asus pg279q, but it's very expensive and my friends told me that 1080p is the best. So my question is: do 1080p, 144hz, IPS monitors exist? I would also like to hear some opinions on gaming monitors.

Great looking build. I recommend you hold off a few weeks until Nvidia releases their Pascal line of new GPU's that promise huge gains in performance. Other than that, the only thing I see you should change is the power supply. The Supernova NEX is a bit low on quality for a build like yours. The Supernova G2 is the one you want. It's likely you'll be disappointed with such cheap speakers but I'll leave that up to you. In the meantime google 'Pascal GPU' to see what's coming soon.

As far as a monitor goes your build puts you in prime territory for a 1440P monitor.
