[SOLVED] 1080p 144hz IPS vs 1440 144hz TN with Gsync

I'm looking to buy 2 new displays after building a new PC and am having a hard time deciding between two monitors. Given a sale right now, they are within 20 dollars of each other so price is totally irrelevant. The monitors are:

Dell S2716DG (27" WQHD TN 144Hz 1ms GTG G-SYNC)

and

ASUS VG279Q (27" FHD IPS 144Hz 1ms MPRT DP FREESYNC but I have nvidia card)

Does anyone have any suggestions? Any thoughts on ips vs gsync and 1440p?

For reference my system is rtx2070, i7-9700k, 16gb 3200mhz

1440p gsync with that gpu all day every day. Love my S2716DG.

Personally would go 1080p 144Hz IPS because TNs look awful and 1440p high refresh is a nightmare to run.
