Hello all, so I am upgradeing my computer and I am wonder what would be best a 24 inch 1080p 144hz or a 27 inch 1440p 75hz I mostly play mmo's and rpg and some shooter like games.
Borderlands 3
Witcher 3 etc
FFXIV etc..

I'm upgradeing to a
3600x
16gb 3000mhz
and either a 5700 or a 2070

My current monitor is a 24 inch 60hz basic monitor no freesync etc.
I'm coming from a ps4 pro and I can not stand 30fps on borderlands 3 just hurts my eyes.

Many thanks.

Solution
I personally wouldn't select a 75Hz monitor because you won't get LFC.

Is this a budgetary restriction? Because an RTX2070 (and assuming 5700XT) is solidly in 1440p >75Hz tier of GPUs. If you're going with 1080p 144Hz, you don't need to spend that much on a GPU.

Have you laid eyes on a 27" 1080p monitor? That's a bit of a grey area for people's personal preference. Some are ok with the density, some aren't.

Is LFC not only with freesync 2 monitors I don't really want to spend that much I would like a 1440p ips within 30-60hz+ without going over £250 if able.
