1080p 60FPS build?

I've decided I want to build a respectable PC without going nuts on a 1440p or 4K rig. If you guys have any parts lists you know about or any suggestions in general, that would be helpful. Here's what I need:

1.Something that can max anything at 1080p/60fps, including newer games like Horizon and The Witcher 3.

2. A good 1080p/144hz monitor, preferably 24 inches.

3.At least 1 SSD.

4. A tower with room for expansion. (May want to try for 4k in 2-3 years).

This might be a tall order, but any help finding something like this would be greatly appreciated.

I plan to play a wide range of games like Dota 2, Star Wars Battlefront 2 (2017), and Star Citizen. I'll need something that can bear the load.

Price shouldn't be an issue unless this somehow manages to be more than 2500.

Thanks, guys.

1) 750w PSU just for expandibiliy ( 500+ watt should be ok)

Will a 1070 be enough to max out whatever game I'm playing? I thought maybe I'd need a 1080 at least. Also, thanks for the build.

for 1080p yes , 1070 will be fine, ofc 1080 or 1080ti will be better if money np 😛

Wait till next week when the new Intel processors come out and see what they have to offer, get a GTX 1080 for sure.

If you want 144hz gaming, forget ryzen. Intel is the way to go. A good system for 1080p 144hz. Later you just have to sli or replace the gpu for 4k gaming :
