My 1080Ti is stuck at 1569 clock no matter what I'm doing. I have MSI Afterburner set to -400 base clock however my GPU is still idle clocking at 1569. Additionally, my GPU usage randomly spikes to 100% causing whatever I'm playing to crash, this happens on games such as PUBG, pummel party, overwatch, valheim. I've tried checking for malware, uninstalling and reinstalling drivers, using one monitor, changing my settings but nothing seems to help. Is my GPU just faulty or do you guys have any advice?

hi,

have you tried cleaning your GPU? and also replaced all the thermal pads and thermal paste?
we had almost the same issue.. but i never had the crash

my GPU is a ZOTAC GTX 1060 mini 6gb.... yours is a 1080ti so that means our GPU is of the same time period of release around 2016, that already five years of gaming service.
i replaced my VRM thermal pads and it seems to stabilized my temps

you might want to try to changed the VRM thermal pads, gpu memory thermal pads, and re apply the thermal paste.

someday i might try to spray my GPU with Electronic contact Cleaner.
