I currently have an Inspiron 3000 series desktop with

i5-4460
12 GB DDR3-1600 Mhz RAM
and an EVGA GT 710 1 GB

I'm getting around 110 dollars on paypal very soon, what should I do? My desktop has a "300w" power supply but I wouldn't trust it. Should I buy a GT 1030? GTX 750? GTX 750 and a new PSU?

Wouldn't recommend getting old gen graphics cards as it's not good for the long run. Eg: Driver support, performance gets worse due to lack of optimization in new drivers for Maxwell architecture.

Legacy hardware receives optimization patches much slower if at all,k the funny thing here is it isn't Nvidia that provides the patches it's the game provided that decides if they want to work with Legacy hardware. If your at a point where you feel a 750Ti is being taxed guess what you are already past the needed performance of a 1030GT since the 750 TI even unoptimized is still faster than a 1030.
