So I'm buying a new pc since I started playing Escape from Tarkov on my setup, and the game never gets above 50-55 fps.
I currently own a Ryzen 5 3600 CPU and a Radeon 5700 XT GPU.
My initial thoughts are to invest in a 3070Ti (Since I got a deal for the exact same price as a 3070) , and either a i5 11600K or 12600K, buying the latter would imply having to invest in a DDR5 16GB ram @5200Mhz.
The game is demanding in terms of single core performance for CPU's, hence the decision of investing in one of these two, it is also known to utilize a high% of RAM too.
I'd appreciate some advice on those 2 cpu's, I would consider a difference of at least 10 fps to be significative, and would justify the 400 USD difference that would imply buying the more expensive CPU, motherboard and DDR5 sticks.
Thanks a lot!

12600K and don't look back. It's 22% faster in single thread performance and 56% faster in multithread. Your not going to notice too much in most games right now, however it will last you better over the long term. I would go DDR4 not DDR5 though.

12600kf is slightly cheaper than the k. It's a lot faster than the 11600! And pretty much the same price. As mentioned z690 boards offer both ddr4 and ddr5 options. I'm running ddr4 3600 with my 12600kf and it will probably handle 4000mhz ram. 3070ti is a good card although 8gb vram is just on border for 4k gaming.
